Located in Pangrati - a district close to the historical centre of Athens and is part of  the City of Athens proper. The main landmark of this area is the  Panathinaiko Stadium (Kalimarmaro), which hosted the first modern  Olympic Games in 1896. Also within the boundaries of Pangrati are the  National Gallery of Athens, the National Hellenic Research Foundation,  the Athens Conservatoire , Athens Concert Hall , many Embasses , and 5  stars Hotels.
